Lockdown

The Lockdown feature enables a VOLO operator to put all controllers on a site into a secure 'locked down' state. This will lock all doors and will not grant access to anyone, whether or not the users have the required permissions to gain access.

Exempt from Lockdown

It is possible to configure specific users to be exempt from lockdown restrictions and for their normal access level permissions to determine whether they should be granted access.

Release Lockdown

The lockdown state will remain in force until a VOLO operator with sufficient permissions sends the 'Release Lockdown' command to the site.

Sites in lockdown will offer significantly restricted access - it is not recommended to leave sites in a lockdown state for longer than is absolutely necessary.

Using this feature could result in people being locked in or out inappropriately.
